Our Values & Ethos
We demonstrate high expectations for our young people ensuring that they have a broad and ambitious curriculum which is personalised to their needs.
We understand that their social and emotional development and their mental health must be catered for to allow them to engage with learning.
On entry, our students are assessed so that relevant and targeted interventions and therapy is in place when students transition into the school.
We aim to:
re-engage children who have not been able to access education due to the nature and complexity of their needs through individualised and group learning
help our pupils to become more aware of their barriers to learning and how they can start to overcome their barriers
encourage our pupils to become more self-regulating in their behaviours through a process of nurture and reflection
re-ignite a pride in attaining their potential and curiosity in the world around them
allow our pupils to enjoy learning again through creativity and fun
